Our Theme

This sort of ties in with the banner. My little bro saw it and pointed out that the whole drug theme was kind of inappropriate, and I have to say that I agree. What if somebody sees the "Green Scene" and gets hooked? That won't happen now, but if we gain popularity, it just might. Besides, we barely ever talk about it. It's basically an empty forum. Now, I'm not expecting a name change, not only would that be extremely annoying, but it's also not needed, as the word "joint" serves nicely as a pun for a place to hang out. What I do propose however, is a removal of the Green Scene and other drug related imagery. I feel like they'll only serve as a source of trouble down the line, and when the site becomes popular, it will look bad if we condone the use of drugs. Maybe the word "joint" in the name can serve as a pun and a mythology gag of sorts, rather than an entire theme? Not only do I think this will make our image more positive, but it will also make it easier for me to upload things to the site. As of today, I hve changed the banner so that the I in joint is no longer a cigar. It is now just an I. Unfortunately, this will delay the arrival of the new banner upload a day or two. Sorry, but I think my bro is right, and it will be a pain to upload the picture tonight since it's already late and he's already kind of miffed about the whole thing. It will be up either tomorrow or the next day now.

Why not? How so? I see how you could disagree, but personally I feel like what I said had truth in it. I'd rather not contribute to a drug theme, honestly. If people want to talk about it, that's fine by me, but a whole forum themed around it? That's still okay, but I can think of better. I think, (Logic, was it) put it best when he said that we never really use the Green Scene anyway. Plus, what is being talked about? I never visited that area of the site, really. The conversations were about legal things right? I never really learned what is/isn't illegal because I don't use. Which isn't to put anything against you, not at all. It's a life choice. I just want to make sure I'm not going to be in trouble if this place gets popular, and I'd rather it didn't turn into a forum for high people. I know that's exaggerating, but still. Sorry if I upset you, but try to see things my way a little bit. Maybe we can compromise?

I actually agree entirely. Besides, discussion of drugs is actually stated in the terms and conditions as something you can't do. Not directly, but it falls into illegal activities(for multiple countries, that is).

I was going to have finished the video today, but my camera failed on the last two scenes (the most damaging ones to myself I had to do twice before realising I need a new memory card).
