Non Inertia

I wrote this poem with a very connecting meaning

NonInertia

Once upon a time
Sounds so soft and discreet
Entered a village
Feeding off the screams
Of the high supremes
Board up the walls
The hair-raising noise is back
Drowning the city
Smothering this shack
Providing our panic attack
The alarms are whistling
The flocks beginning to herd
Parallel to the skies
Amongst the unheeded word
This plague has re-occurred
These blades are raining
The people are shredding
Heading to a scorching bedding
This stench is rapidly rising
As our disease is spreading
The spell has been cast
A swift plunge to fall
Coming from the background
Of a bliss-less squall
Concluding us all

That sounded pretty good. I like the dramatic words you included. They really made the poem stand out more.

Thanks I know i was wanting to through drama at you right when you read it. I want people to figure it out.

If 'being on the dot' means that i'm guessing in the right direction, then i think this poem is about the earthquake in Haiti.

Your in the right direction but Haiti is not the answer. Though this poem fits well wit the Haiti theme.

2012 is true. But its not why i wrote it. I wrote on the theme of 2012. But the poems about a multitude of events all corresponding at once. But those events are of the end of the world whenever that may be.
