Serenation

Ive taken to this
Im addicted to please
I am enraged by this phase
And not will i deny
A life without love is a lie;
Slingshotting up and down
Losing my rounds
Stumbling all around
In this lonely town
But I remain in the fight
During hell tonight

Frailly focused
Yet keeping my eye on the prize
I've seen pain, sorrow and hate
But love hasnt been a loyal mate
And I regretfully say
I have yet to win this game
For nows no time to celebrate
Concentration I must maintain
Whilst being keen and ascertain
Understand misfortune and mistake
Made me who I am today
The man of yesterday cant change tomorrow
Because hes history

But all along
What I've been lookin' for is you
Without it I cease to move
Life would be too blue
To move on without you
So listen close
As I take these blows
With a broken nose
It just goes to show
To me you mean the most

I've fallen from the top
Im down to my last drop
But I refuse to stop
Because my goal is on lock
These feelings are not synthetic
The attractions magnetic
And your beauty is my anesthetic

The knock-out punchs set to jettison
Like an animation
With one last comparison
From A humble son
Perfections quite from prominent
And in that Im confident
So never seek out that accomplishment

My energys no longer on a leash
As I grit my teeth and just unleash
Strike after strike
Switch after switch
And lick after lick
Im down on my knees
Too painful to even breathe
But staying true to my creed
For you're all I need
