PostSubject: What is the best way of protec   5/3/2010, 4:25 pm

I was looking at some of my old artwork. I was disappointed to see how bad the paper has yellowed over the years. I would like to save current artwork from the same fate. Most of my pictures were stored in a cedar chest.
What is the best fix-it for watercolors, pen & ink, or pencil ?
Please tell me how you store your artwork.
I can not afford to have most of my art professional framed.

Put it into a book & keep it closed. That way you will protect it from the sun.

As for restoration, there's a chemical formulae that some nerd discovered which reverses the chemical reaction caused in yellowing the plastic covers on game consoles. It's similar to teeth whitener, research it. It might work on paper. You could also just scan it & restore it on the PC.
