Seeing as your doing the renovation i thought i might add my two cents.

IMO we need new titles, We will never be a respected forum if our titles our sprites from games we don't own or the faces of cartoon characters we don't own. We need to make custom VJ unique titles

Another thing, Yes i know i wont STFU about it but THE BUTTONS, They Can be a lot better. Not trying to be a douche just saying.

Another thing, You should find a way to display Spunkys Web Comic on the main page, With NEXT & PREV buttons and of course JUMP TO MOST RECENT just like the other comic, I think it could really bring some traffic here.

Another thing, Ditch the Pot theme? I know it's what the forum was founded on but we literally NEVER talk about it and it seems like most of the members don't even do it. This can be more like a Chill sort of place.

Another cosmetic suggestion, Make our own emoticons! A forum really looks professional if all of it's aspects are unique!

Finally last but not least, Needs more color. Try blending in some colors together and making patterns, Staring at one shade of green all day is ugly.

I'm being serious BTW; I've got a full time college course in IT which I'm behind on, I've got a php forum to program & restore, I've got a site to program from scratch on my own (& this is an urgent matter).

I've got a lot of things to do, I'm prioritising. I do fully agree with everything you've just said, but the fact is I need your help. Did you attend the meeting?

Let's just plan some things for the future. 3 things so we don't end up nagging about all the shit left, right & centre.

1. Unique rank images.
   
2. Unique emoticons.
   
3. New theme with buttons.

You make it, I program it. I'm a programmer & mock-up artist, not a graphic artist. I was hired for programming. Something which takes enough time without having to learn how to make graphics.

I know it sounds like I'm saying "if you want it, you do it" but I'm not able to make graphics, someone else will have to make them. I can (however) do sprites & emoticons.

You got it, But for the buttons i will need to have a jist on what the theme will look like. Emoticons and rank images are all me though.

I don't know why you put so much effort in this forum.
I mean, it's nice to come here because i know who everybody is and shit but to be honest, this forum will never really be big or something. It's more likely to die than to gain 5 or more users.
It's just a forum with no specific subject. There are so much of those.

Sorry, but in my opinion you're wasting your time.
And if you have little spare time like you say you do, Conal, then do something better with it than working on this forum.

Cool, I already started working on some emotes and some ranks. I also got some ideas for new thread smilies, buttons and even a possible option for a new banner with an Easter egg in it. I think you're gonna like it.
